Habitat for Humanity of Collier County has been the main provider of single family, owner-occupied affordable housing for low-wage earners in Collier County since 1978.

1978
Habitat for Humanity of Collier County holds its first groundbreaking in Immokalee and begins work on its first home.

1988
Ten years after its inception, Habitat of Collier County celebrates the completion of 50 homes.

1993
In just five years, Habitat builds another 50 homes and dedicates its 100th home in Collier County.

2003
Habitat for Humanity of Collier County marks its 25th anniversary with the dedication of its 500th home.

2007
Habitat breaks ground on the 1,000th Habitat home in Collier County.

2008
Habitat for Humanity of Collier County celebrates its 30th Anniversary and is the host location for the 300,000th Habitat for Humanity home built in the world.

2009 
With the completion of Trail Ridge, Habitat for Humanity celebrates is 6th community in Collier County.  With 204 families calling Trail Ridge home, the community is our largest to date.
